Tuesday’s Groupon Roundup: More Soap.com, Books, Costumes, and More

Groupon has several online, doesn’t-matter-where-you-live bargains available for your Tuesday. I’ve been watching these offers each day, looking for ones I can use to purchase for Christmas gifts this year at discounted prices.
To get the offers, visit Groupon, sign-in or sign-up, then select the city that’s listing the deal you want from the drop-down list of cities at the top of the Groupon site. Since all of these are online deals, you don’t need to live in the listing city to take advantage of the offer.
And, as always, if these deals don’t float your boat, you can still sign up for email alerts for your nearest Groupon city to get local deals delivered to your inbox each day.
Seattle- Today you can get a $20 voucher to spend on Soap.com for just $10, and 2-day shipping is included. That gives you lots of discounted cosmetics, cleaning supplies, medicines, and more! They stock PUR and Brita products too, so the Groupon can be a great way to save on these products that are hard to find very significantly discounted.
Birmingham (Side Deal)- Get $50 worth of personalized gifts such as greeting cards, t-shirts, mugs, and more from Zazzle.com for $25. This Groupon would be great for Christmas gifts or cards.
Sioux Falls- Get $30 worth of candles and gifts for $15 from The Candleberry Candle Company. The Groupon can be applied toward shipping. (Thanks, My Frugal Adventures!)
Raleigh/Durham- SnapTotes.com is offering your choice between two custom photo bags- a clutch ($29) and a tote ($50). Shipping is included.
Baltimore (Another Great Deal Nearby)- Horizon Foods, a home delivery service, is offering $100 worth of portion-controlled food for $49. Shipping information here. I wondered if I fell in their free delivery area even though I don’t live very close to Baltimore, so I sent them a quick email and heard back within 30 minutes. Good customer service so far, so I purchased the Groupon.
Charleston (Side Deal)- Perfect for Halloween next month! Get $30 worth of costumes and accessories from CostumeHUB for $15. Shipping is included on orders over $50.
Philadelphia (Side Deal)- SitterCity is offering a one-month membership for $20. SitterCity is a website that matches parents with babysitters.
Chicago (Another Great Deal Nearby)- Pick $75 worth wines from Barclay’s Wine for $25. Shipping is not included.
Ottawa- Get 2 “Best of Season” boxes of produce from Organics Delivered Limited for $30. The company only offers delivery to select areas though, so be sure to check your zip code here.
Houston (Another Great Deal Nearby)- Pick $125 worth of men’s clothing from Arbitrage for just $50. Shipping is free.
Jacksonville- Snag $25 worth of snacks from Great Food Co-op for $12.
North Jersey- Get a one-month membership to the Netflix of books, BookSwim, for $5. Be careful with this Groupon purchase though; the membership will automatically renew at regular price after the Groupon month if you don’t cancel.
